In Wagner's epic, the forests of the Ring of the Nibelung are inhabited by dwarves, giants who are dark forces ... and above all, inhabits the fate of Siegfried. The forest reveals its mission with their voices and has a "dawn" effect on the hero.

According to Carl Jung the forest, the sea and the space of the labyrinth are considered as symbols of the unconscious, or rather, represent the "fear to the unconscious".

This project tries to capture the moment in which Siegfried connects with the sublime through the beautiful.

The subjective point of view puts us in the hero's place as he looks up at the forest trees and we see sunlight through the backlit branches.

The trip to the forest leads us to knowledge and harmony with ourselves ...
